We Will Begin in Just a Bit

Good Morrow.

Welcome to another portion of the World Wide Web operated by some kid with opinions on stuff.

I will leave no illusions here.

I am fifteen.
I am misinformed.
I am a fool.
I am opinionated.
I am extremely awful at video games.
I like video games.
I am unimportant.

That being said, what you will find here is a collection of reviews about video games. I will try my best to keep them witty and entertaining, while still addressing important issues about quality.

I write more for myself than anyone else, though I do hope that possibly my reviews will help you in choosing that perfect game that we are all looking for.

I write for myself because I have a secret...
In the past five years, I have not fully completed a single video game. Nope. Haven't done it. I play for a while, get bored, and leave it.

However, I have a bit of reasoning in my head. I figure that video games can be kind of like books. Sometimes, it's difficult to finish a long book. But if you have a book report due, then you have to get that thing done (or just sparknote it!). Therefore, I figure that by dedicating myself to one review a week, I will increase my chances of completing games.

As a note, I am absolutely dreadful at most games. I just simply am not good. I am not the worst player around (I know a great deal of people even I can beat, but I am still not a "great" gamer. I just enjoy games enough to write about them.

The reviews will be done in a format such as this:
1. A small ramble about the game, very unorganized.
2. Brief plot synopsis
3. Starting Impressions
4. Drag On or Drag In? (i.e., does it keep my attention?)
5. The End? (Do I want the game to be over, or do I want more?)
6. Extra Features (Multiplayer, Mini-Games, etc).
7. Extra Notes
8. Would I recommend you grabbing a copy?

At the end of each post I will rate the game using a scale of 1 to 10 (ten being the best) for these categories:

1. Appeal (was I dragged into getting it? Or have I wanted it forever?)
2. Plot (Compelling or just godawful?)
3. Interface (Did the controls make SENSE?)
4. Challenge (I figure if I can be the game in less than an hour, there's no challenge)
5. Re-Playability
6. Graphics (Do not take this category with much weight, please).
7. Features (Are there a multitude?)

That is more or less the format of my reviews, as I worked it out in my head so far. It may change every now and then, on a "whenever-I-feel-like-it" basis.

I hope you stick around and see what happens next!
